11/5 reflection

Today, we have learned about three types of learning styles. I noticed at once that my learning style is visual learning. Visual learning is you see something that your teacher shows you and you understand many things just by watching the lessons. I usually can't concentrate when teachers talk over 10 minutes. I like to read something by myself and get things out of it. I like this 'occupations presentation' session because I am getting something out of it. I am sad that it will be end soon.

reflection on 11/4 writing class

Today, I went to this site that Mrs. Gunther told us. It is a site that evaluate our learning style and our personality etc. One of the sentences that this site said about my personality was 'People like you are warm, friendly, and talkative. You are an enthusiastic and energetic person who loves to be surrounded by people and activity.You are also a practical and realistic person. You may love the outdoors, animals, and a variety of sports or physical activities.' I realized that I am not a person who doesn't like to be alone. I also noticed that I care a lot about my grade.

10/30 writing reflection

Today, we seperated our classes. We kind of did indivisual work today. What we did today was, we evaluated ourselves on what we like or dislike. As we learn about more occupations, I think I am finding what I want to in the future. By finding the code, I was able to find some other occupations that had similar code with one of my 'hoping occupation lists'. Today, I actually thought my job that I am thinking right now might be change as I grow up and know many things about occupations. Which I don't think it is bad situation to happen.

reflection on 10/29 writing class

Today, our writing class talked about our future occupation. Mrs. Gunther gave us a book that has lists of occpuations and we chose 8 out of them. We also did an activity that we list the values of our personalities. I picked 'helping others' as my first pick because I am willing to help other people well. However, I picked 'working alone' as my last pick because I am a sociable person and I like to work with other people. It helps me more with other people working together. Additionall I chose 'Sport Management' as my first future occupation. In today's lesson, I figured out what I am interested in by looking variety of choices on occupations.

How can I become the person I want to be? How can I become the person God wants me to be? What steps do I need to take to achieve this-right now and in the future? Besides a career, what else do I want for my life?

For me, I try to be a person that God wants by praying and get answer from him or by reading a bible and try to understand God's people in that time period. However, I can be a person that I want just do anything I want. I think if you trust God and have Faith in him, you will be the same God's person until you die and go heaven.

Reflection(10/22) Jon k

Today, Mrs. Gunther gave us a presentation on a talent. We discussed about what kind of talents we have and skills that God gave us to live in this world. She showed us some exmaples of few people's life and what kind of life they have with their talents. Also I read huge passage about this three men who got certain amount of talents from God and got evaluted by how they used it. Today in class, I wondered what kind of talent God had given to me. I didn't find the answer yet but as I live through my life I hope I can work that talent out and make God happy about it. I am actually having fun in writing class these days. Thanks Mrs. Gunther!

reflection on 10/20 writing class

Ms. Sayler's and Ms. Nelson's class combined a class and listened to Mrs. Gunther's presentation. It was fun having a class with another writing class. The questions we talked about today was the comparison between non-believers and believers. We did some questions and discussed them. She also talked about decision of my future career. I am exited for next six weeks.

Jon's writing

For me, I like it when the writing is understandable. Some people also like when writing a strong point and a persuasiveness. If you see people's good essays, it is all creative and have new kinds of writing. It also should not be complicated for the readers when they read.

Process of writing, you need introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Inside of the paragraph, you need introduction sentence, supporting sentence, and conclusion sentence. Again, you need creative ideas and ideas that can influence other people.
